A few years ago I started writing a novel. I needed community and guidance so I created Aegean Arts Circle Writing Workshops to meet the needs of a writer who never wrote fiction before but whose workshop would be challenging enough for published writers as well. What was needed? An inspiring location, nurturing workshop leaders who were award winning writers, a workshop group composed of participants who were committed to writing and that was small enough to have lots of focused time for feedback on the new writing that emerged.
Andros is a quiet Cycladic island with little tourism making it an ideal place to slow down, get away from the daily grind to focus on new writing. Aegean Arts Circle Workshops are intensive and provide for a trusting space for published and aspiring writers to work. Workshop leaders are award winning authors.
